TRACES OF GREECE receive the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism

It is with great pleasure to announce that as of February 27, 2020, TRACES OF GREECE, ARGO Travel’s Cultural, Religious and Educational Tourism Department, operates under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism.

TRACES OF GREECE is the brainchild of the collaboration between one of Greece’s oldest travel organizations, ARGO Travel, and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), the first, biggest and highest internationally ranked academic institution in the Balkans.

For the first time ever in Greece, highly acclaimed NKUA Professors officially bestow their expertise and guide academics and culturally desirous travelers through the events and actual sites that laid the foundations of Western Civilization and Christianity.

TRACES OF GREECE programs are carefully designed for academics (students, researchers and professors) and culturally desirous travelers, and are offered either as accredited thematic Short Courses or as Featured Vacations. They are rigorously taught and experientially guided on-site by experienced NKUA professors and run all year round.

Upon completion, academic participants receive proper certification and accreditation according the international academic standards (10 credits/5 ECTS/2 US).
