The Greek island of Santorini has been voted “Best Island in Europe” for the sixth consecutive year by the readers of US magazine Global Traveler, a monthly travel publication aimed at frequent business and luxury travelers.
According to Virtuoso, Greece ranked as one of the 10 world’s leading destinations for the Summer of 2019 (or for this Summer) on luxury travel network based on future bookings and inclusive of travel in June, July and August.

The temple of Poseidon, the ancient Greek god of the sea, dominates the southernmost tip of Attica, where the horizon meets the Aegean Sea. Perched on the craggy rocks of Cape Sounio, the temple is enveloped in myth and historic facts dated from antiquity until the present times.
